SOLD!

our house has finally SOLD. conditions are not yet removed but i feel confident that they will be. so, the buyers want posession on DEC 25th -- because it's a "good day" and they are chinese, and also wanted the amount to be certain numbers so they were "good numbers" and not "bad numbers".... interesting! so, dec 25th you ask...???? thank goodness they are agreeing to let us live here until our new house is ready, and they will rent to us for january. hopefully we won't need to go into february. if we do, our builder is supposed to be paying for any costs, including rent.... but i am SO scared to even present this to him. i know he said early feb as our most recent posession date, but i'm going to have to just tell him we sold our house and we have to leave jan 25th and see what he says. wish me luck!!!

this is a huge weight off our shoulders! woo hoo! we didn't get the price we wanted, but we got way more than we had ever imagined when we started building the new house, so we can't complain. it is enough to make everything work and that is all that matters!
