we have grass!!!!!!!!!!!!

we went tree & shrub & even flower shopping last night. then the sod was delivered this morning and kipp got started on it. my dad came and helped with what he could and probably did more than he should have. i think his arm was sore when the day was done. my mom was great, she brought lunch and came with "new" toys (lego from MY childhood) and entertained the kids all afternoon. i took emerson and went out shopping for some thing we needed, like a sprinkler, some screws for the back steps, and a mailbox. (part of the neighborhood requirements)

it was a busy day, but it's so nice to finally have grass! yay! we're not quite done yet because i underestimated the amount of sod we would need. we'll have to order a bit more and finish this week or something. oh well!
