notes...

today we had extra kids here, so we walked to the big playground for the morning and into the afternoon. then played at home in the backyard... and after the extra kids left, i took hallie & kai to their friend's birthday party! they had a blast! it was nice to not have emerson with us... i really got to play with the kids... push them on the swings, jump in the bouncy castle with them, and just have more attention on THEM for once instead of miss emmy. kipp stayed home with emerson.... tomorrow we're off to a wedding... no idea what any of us are going to wear -- should be interesting!

i love love love my sling! it's so purdy! this is a pic of emerson SLEEPING in it today! it's the first time she's ever slept in it.... it was so cute. all you could see was her hat and her legs. so cozy.... i had to crop myself out of the pic... it's funny how you think you look a certain way and then you see pictures and wonder, "WHO is THAT?!!" or maybe it's just me! LOL

the beautiful princess bouncy castle at the party tonight... the one hallie wanted so badly but she got stuck with blues clues because of the whole weather/party date change. i felt so badly for her when she asked tonight why izabella got the one SHE wanted :( oh, and you should've seen hallie's face while izabella opened her gifts... i just wanted to leave... not sure if this is normal or what to do about it, the preschool jealousy phase?!? :(
