oooooooo........!!!
today, after babysitting all morning, i went with my mom on a little shopping trip! (my dad stayed home with the older kids, emmy came with me) i went and chose our appliances for the new house! how exciting! i told myself we would stick to reasonable, lower end stuff, but the one appliance i want to get "bigger & better" is the fridge. i'm in love with the nice, big fridge... do we need the nice, big fridge? hmmmm... have to think on that one! it was nice to have an afternoon with my mom & baby... as much as i love my kids, i really needed that little break! i feel like lately, the kids are just wearing me out... around 24/7 literally... all day, all evening, going to bed much later than they should be, and THEN to top it off, coming into my bed throughout the night. i usually put them back into their own bed once i discover them in mine, but between the 2 of them i'm doing this all night and eventually i must get too tired because i don't even notice anymore... but it never fails. at least 1, usually both of them are in there in the morning :( i think tonight i'll make a bed on my floor, and if they don't sleep there, i will! LOL! plus, emerson's crib is in our room. i just want some space... !!! please!!! i have to now mentally prepare myself for the next 2 days with 5 kids and no outings.... i'm already not excited. we hope to make it to the park at least both days....

we still have to pick appliances for our new house. how exciting!
'R' still comes into my bed the middle of the night the majority of the time, I understand the sometimes just needing a little space.
Oh, yuck! Is there no way you can make them stay in their beds? Duct tape? Or bungee cords? Seriously, that's hard. It's tough to maintain your composure during the day when you never get any down time. Hopefully they'll start staying in their beds soon!!
As for the big appliances - love them! We haven't "officially" picked ours out yet, but we know what we want. Stainless steel. Big side-by-side fridge and that awesome stackable, front-loading washer and dryer set. Woo!
5 kids and no outings......sounds like a normal day in this house ;) but yeah I know its different when the kids aren't your own ;)

I can't wait until I get a new kitchen and get to pick new appliances.....we have a spare fridge and freezer in the garage because our big one in the kitchen isn't big enough......I blame Costco ;) it's all the bulk buying!
