emmy had an appointment with the home nutrition team today at the hospital. everything is good and she got the OK to start trying some liquids again! yikes, i'm a bit nervous because this is her 3rd attempt and the last 2 times failed miserably, and ended up with emmy in hospital with gunked up lungs. i'm not sure if i'll start yet or not.... they said to, but i'm still so nervous. also, i would *normally* switch my babe to homo milk around 11-12 months and if i start her on formula now (9 months) she may get used to that taste, only to have me change it in a couple of months. hmmmm.... maybe i'll wait a bit. i dunno.
either way, send her "stay healthy" vibes!!!

I can totally understand why you'd be nervous to start her on liquids again. Maybe ask your ped what he thinks? If you hold out another couple of months, you could skip the whole formula thing altogether. It's not like she's in danger of being malnourished! ;)
