today's walk!

welcome new blog readers! i invited some new readers and if you're wondering what this is you have stumbled upon, this is our blog. i take way too many pictures so this is where some of them end up. it sort of a photo journal of our life... what's new with us... the kids growing up... nothing too exciting but keeps friends & family up to date, especially those who don't see us often.

today after playschool we went on our first bike ride of the year. it went pretty well except i did have to carry kai's bike for a portion of the walk. oh well. emerson did well in the stroller. the kids got soaked but it was all fun! kai was using the trike from last summer but he does have a bike waiting for him... not the best day for learning something new though. we rode to the park and the kids had a short play. once they were wet, it was too cold to be outside for a lot longer.

we are finally getting our stone work done on our house. i'll post a whole house pic once it's done. i had totally forgotten what i picked for stone. (actually the builder picked it but i agreed to it)

i did take emmy out for a bit and she walked up on the playground equipment, but that was a bit much for me... too wet and messy!!! (she had on her non-waterproof shoes)
