thursday afternoon i took the kids to the festival of trees. i had my 3, plus my dayhome babe and my before & after school boy who is 7. (he has thursday afternoons off) everyone had a lot of fun! we got there late which i'm going to blame on parking and the stupid ONE elevator at shaw conference center. the ONE elevator is supposed to service all strollers and all wheelchairs, seniors with walkers, etc. and it's super slow too. it was frustrating! i even carried the stroller, with 2 babies in it, down one set of stairs between canada place and shaw conference center because i couldn't figure the elevators out. sheesh. we met up with sara and juanita, however juanita was done there already by the time we made it... and so we went through with sara and her kids! (sorry J!)

the kids by the gingerbread house village that my dad made - he makes 4 and they raffle one off each day of the festival. the money goes to charity.

wow, i've never been there. i thought it was only trees to look at...didn't realise there was so much to do.
