we're not doing much this weekend. i babysat last night (my regular friday night gig) and then tonight i'm going for an all moms dinner with a couple of friends, but otherwise we don't know the other moms so hopefully it goes ok! the kids and i played outside for a bit today. hallie's big girl bike wasn't working -- daddy's "fixed" the training wheels but now the back wheel doesn't touch the ground, so she used her old trike today. (dad wasn't home and i couldn't fix it back, i did try!!) i bought a new toy today for emerson and the dayhome boy, but it's kinda funny because it's one of the toys we HAD before, but sold after kai was outgrown it. oops! it's a great toy though, the leapstart learning table! thankfully i got it cheap :)

the kids are allowed to ride their bikes from our house to the white fence at the end of the block, which is the showhomes' fence that blocks off the sidewalk.
2 monkeys... who knew?

Kai looks like he's lots of fun! Yours kids are so cute!
Where you live looks nice! I think streets without garages are so much nicer...the homes always look prettier without the ugly concrete driveways out front! My kids would love to be by a playground again - we have to drive to our nearest one!
